Every purchase, donation, and volunteer hour directly supports the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center (HLFCC), providing safety, healing, and hope to survivors of domestic and sexual violence across the Highland Lakes region.

100% of our proceeds benefit HLFCC programs that help individuals and families escape abuse, find shelter, and rebuild their lives. When survivors enter our doors, they’re not just shopping — they’re choosing comfort, dignity, and a fresh start. For our community, the store offers high-quality, gently loved clothing, shoes, furniture, home décor, books, appliances, toys, and more — often featuring popular and name-brand items for a fraction of retail prices.

Our Mission in Action

Proceeds from Good Neighbor Thrift Store provide emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and outreach through the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center. Clients in crisis can select clothing, furniture, and household essentials at no cost as they begin their journey toward safety and stability.

Schedule a Donation Drop-Off or Pickup

Cleaning out your closet, updating furniture, or moving? Your donation directly impacts the success of The Good Neighbor Thrift Store, which in turn supports survivors and families throughout the Highland Lakes community.

Donation Hours:

Monday–Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Have items to donate or need to schedule a pickup? Call 830-798-1512 — our team will be happy to help arrange a convenient time. We kindly ask that all donated items be gently used and in working condition. While we appreciate every offer, please note that we are not a junk removal service and reserve the right to decline items that cannot be sold.
